Long time Nevada City Winery friends will remember Solaire from the 2000 vintage. Solaire was our name for a lip-smackingly delicious blend of traditional red Rhone varietals. This version is a blend of 56% Syrah, 34% Mourvedre and 10% Merlot from both the 2007 and 2008 vintages. It is a wonderful example of an engaging Rhone-style blend, loaded with aromas of pepper, smoke and plums. But discover it for yourself on March 20th. There will be a treat or two to nibble on as well.
