Basket Full Of Gold Harvest Party

Sat, 16 Oct 2010

Mark your calendar to join us for a celebration of harvest. You no doubt remember the cold, wet and very late spring this year. The entire harvest is delayed as a result. Normally we would be well into crush by the beginning of September, but as of this moment Mark has not yet crushed a grape. Right now he is saying the grapes are two to three weeks behind a typical schedule.

All of which means we should be right in the middle of harvest for our Annual Harvest Celebration that takes place every October. And we have much to celebrate.

It?s been a bountiful year. The wines have never been better and we have never had a more Gold-Medal-filled-line-up in our Tasting Room than right now. One after another, it?s one stunning wine after another. We had a dozen current Gold Medal winners at last count including the absolutely fabulous 2007 Cabernet Franc, lauded as the Best Cabernet Franc in California at this year's California State Fair. You do not want to miss this one.

We're just starting to plan now. Keep an eye on the website for details but we expect to have a few barrel samples of future medal winners, a few Library wines of past medal winners, plus some delicious nibbles and of course some live music. It?s a party, so bring your friends. No reservations required. $5 per person. See you there.
