2006 Malbec
Malbec, long recognized as one of the classic Bordeaux varieties, is seldom seen in California as a varietal wine. More’s the pity. These grapes were carefully grown by Naggiar Vineyards in Southern Nevada County. It was our pleasure to turn them into wine. This 2006 Malbec is loaded with bright flavors of cranberry and bing cherries, highlighted with mildly toasted oak and silky-soft tannins.

Malbec Wine Information
Malbec is one of the five prominent Bordeaux varietals. The grapes are from the Naggiar Vineyard in the south county and we believe this to be Nevada County's first Malbec.
