2007 Mourvedre

Mourvedre is one of the traditional Rhone varieties of Southern France. Called Mataro in California, it was known for its deep color, bold tannins and robust flavors. Here, attentive farming, low yields and careful winemaking have melded this 2007 Mourvedre into a juicy, full-bodied, richly textured wine offering flavors of spice, raspberry, cherry and chocolate. Complex, interesting, and delicious.
