2005 Cabernet Franc
The father of Cabernet Sauvignon, but more subtle and less tannic than its offspring. This wine offers delightful flavors of ripe blueberries, spice and violets with appealing aromas of black cherries and chocolate. Well-balanced and fruity with moderate tannins, there is plenty of structure to reward two or three years of additional aging but it is so delicious right now that you will want to have it with dinner tonight.
