Nevada City’s Victorian elegance supplies the perfect backdrop to showcase Nevada City Uncorked, an annual celebration of wine and food. Nevada City Uncorked, a sip-and-stroll event, brings together the best wines, foods, and venues for the event of the season. Each venue, whether it’s a historic location, winery, gallery, inn, restaurant, or shop will include wine and food sampling.

A Tapestry of Quaint and Curious

Nevada City is a tapestry of quaint, curious and unique spots to explore. Each venue, whether it’s an historic location, inn, art gallery, restaurant, winery, or shop will include wine tasting and food sampling.

Wines From the Northern Frontier

Uncorked is proud to showcase the wines of the north Sierra Foothills. We fondly refer to it as “wines from the northern frontier”, the best, least-discovered wine region in California. This year Uncorked features wineries from Placer, Nevada, Butte, and Tehama Counties creating a unique gateway to the wines from the north country.

A Smorgasbord of Flavor

Uncorked offers a smorgasbord of flavor. 15 restaurants, caterers, and specialty shops as diverse as sushi, a salumeria, a cheese maker, and a chocolatier will offer an array of tasty bites and signature flavors. Uncorked encourages a connection, as much as possible, between local farms and participating food purveyors.

Uncorked Tickets

Nevada City Uncorked is sponsored by the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 on the day of the event. The best insider deal is the $30 ticket for Wine Club members. Wine Club members of any of the participating wineries should contact their respective wineries directly to grab those.

Each Uncorked ticket includes a commemorative wine glass sponsored by Nevada City Winery, plus five food tickets. Additional food tickets are available for 2/$5 or 5/$10.

Check In starts at 12:30 at the lower level of the Veteran’s Building at 415 North Pine Street. Everyone must be 21 and check-in in person. Collect your wine glass, food tickets, and program with a map of all the locations.
