Sangiovese, or Blood of Jupiter, is the principal grape of the flavorful wines of Tuscany, Italy. Sangiovese prefers a long growing season with sufficient warmth to fully ripen, making it ideally suited to California's warm and sun-drenched Sierra Foothills. This 2010 vintage is loaded with spice, dried cherries and citrus peel aromas. It is medium bodied, dry and crisp, with a pleasing earthy finish. Bring on your favorite pasta! Gold Medal, Best of Class Winner. 25% off on 6 bottles, 30% off for Club Members.
Join us for an afternoon of painting “Monet’s Bridge over Pond” while enjoying your own snack and sipping award winning wine at Nevada City Winery. Leave your inhibitions at the door and take home your own masterpiece. Absolutely no painting experience required. Click here for Reservations.
